In order to provide more access to materials and better serve you, our library system is merging with Ozaukee and Sheboygan counties. As of December 15, 2016, the Mid-Wisconsin Library System (Dodge and Washington counties) will disperse and reform with Ozaukee and Sheboygan counties to form the Monarch Library System.
What does this give you?
-Access to over 1 million items.
-More libraries where you can use your card
-A new online catalog interface.
However, there will be a transitional period as we merge with these counties.
During this time library data (patron records, material records, etc.) will be migrated over to the new catalog, staff will receive training for the new system, and other system merger tasks will be completed. The transitional time will run from Thursday, Dec. 8 until Wednesday, Dec. 14.
During these days the library cannot
- -Place holds
- -Fill holds
- -Accept payments for fines, lost items, etc.
- -Check-in materials
- -Search the catalog
- -Issue new or replacement card
You will still be able to
- Checkout materials,
- Use the computers
- Access Overdrive,
We thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we transition to the new system. We hope you’ll enjoy the new benefits this merger brings. If you have any questions about the merger or transition time, please feel free to ask a staff member.
